HOUSEKEEPER

Essential Duties:

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Centre i.e. clean function rooms, hallways, foyers, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices and other work areas to ensure the company service standards are met.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, extracting carpet, washing windows and other customary, janitorial and cleaning functions.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Sweep and mop hard floors.
• Assist in the preparation of function spaces.
• Work cooperatively with peers/team mates to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Perform last minute changes regarding event set-ups. 
• Interact in a positive and responsive manner with show management, internal and external clients and the general public in accordance with the company’s service standards. 
• Perform other related duties as required.

HOUSEMAN

Essential Duties:

• Assist with room set-up, break-down and cleaning of meeting rooms and exhibit halls for meetings, banquets, and other events. 
• Perform all set-up and break-down configurations pertaining to function room requirements under tight deadlines to meet client specifications and health and safety codes.  Involves lifting and placement of stacking chairs and folding tables as well as pushing and pulling of equipment trolleys.
• Work cooperatively with peers/team mates to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Perform portage duties.
• Operate movable room dividers to rearrange meeting configuration to accommodate client set-up requirements.
• Erect and dismantle performance staging and risers to meet client specifications and safety requirements.
• Removing trash, empty garbage containers and relocating to area of disposal.
• Perform janitorial duties such as vacuuming, extracting carpet, washing windows and other customary janitorial and cleaning functions, including cobwebbing and cleaning of A/C Vents.
• Operate automatic cleaning equipment such as carpet extractor machine and buffing machine.
• Interact in a positive and responsive manner with show management, internal and external clients and the general public in accordance with the company’s service standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
